Our Story
Founded in 2021, What D' Paw started with the creation of custom clothing for Mochi, our beloved Cavachon and brand mascot. After entering Mochi into a doggie fashion show, the idea of making custom clothing for all fur babies came to be and What D' Paw was created.

About me
Becoming a fashion designer was always my dream. Life had its own timeline, though—and 30 years later, I went back to school and made that dream a reality! I graduated as a Salutatorian from Wade College in Dallas, TX in 2022 with a degree in Fashion Design & Product Development.
What d’Paw started with a little sparkle and a lot of fur—when I entered my fur baby in a fashion show and realized, “Wait, I can totally design this!” That moment sparked a new adventure: creating handcrafted pet apparel full of personality, flair, and love.
Not long after, my former hula group (yes, I used to dance!) became my first official client. Designing and handcrafting their beautiful costumes reconnected to me and gave me even more reason to keep creating. I thought about starting another business, but in the end, I brought everything together under the What d’Paw umbrella.
Now I get to do what I love—blending fashion, culture, and creativity for both people and pets. And trust me, this is just the beginning.
